In 2014, a forward-thinking man from down-under introduced the masses to the concept of AFOB (Adult Fans of Benny) in celebration of the dashing spaceman's 30th birthday!
Enamoured with the idea, we sought his permission to continue the AFOB theme into new, uncharted territory.
In 2016, we began with our tribute to the Canadian Beaver (AFOB - Adult Fans of Beaver) at BrickCan. Justine Beaver found her way onto brick badges all over and into many hearts. Emboldened by the warm reception she, and we (The BeaverBoys), were granted we invited you to join us in a long-term celebration of the B in LEGO® form!
2017 saw Boo-Boo the Bear making his appearance at the next BrickCan and was supported by The Bear-Naked Guys in their full-on nudity!
Jump ahead to 2018 and Bacon was the flavour, literally, of the day! The Bacon Bros ensured Buddy the Bacon Strip sizzled on your chests, because, as we all know, everything is better with bacon!
Falling into 2019 Bottlecap Bruce fluttered into our hearts and brewed up a storm in a coffee cup, or was that some other drink from The Brewski Boyz?!
2020 - Oh Boy! Where do we Begin?! Let's just say that the Band of Bodyguards saved the day! Betty, Bobbi, Bonehead, Barry and Billy all Battled to Beat Buster! Let's fast forward to 2021! (Checkout the Brass Tacks section for all the COVID Braves!)
Justine Beaver!
Justine was OUR first and she'll be in our hearts forever! She's a discrete rodent and you'd be hard-pressed to see her anywhere these days!
2021 arrives and online we go again! Buzz the Bee Bounced around our screens for two days, and we did our first mailouts!
2022 and we'll still on-screen and joined by Basil the Violet Green Swallow, who flew into our hearts!
2023 was a ball! Blue Barry rolled in stage left and left us feeling anything but blue!
2024 and things get saucy with Brenda! The sassiest Buffalo you ever did see!
